What we focus on we create -be it good or bad.
If we focus our thoughts, feelings and actions on happiness and love those become the experiences we perceive to be our realities. In every circumstance we can choose to perceive it either with love or with fear. For example, we can perceive a negative health diagnosis with complete terror or view it as a chance to slow down and truly start embracing each moment with gratitude. It is our own interpretation what determines our perception of the reality we are experiencing.
We can choose to perceive our job with more gratitude, our family with more love, that challenging colleage with more understanding and love. I am not saying this will be easy, we live in a fear-based world and we have acquired many habits based on fear that do not help us anymore. However, as long as we recognise we don’t want this anymore and we ask for help, we will receive the guidance to transform our thoughts from fear to love.
Clearly I am a happiness junkie, a woman with the mission of understanding what happiness and joy are and finding simple ways to bring more of that happiness to our day to day, so all of you, the readers of this blog, can access more happiness within yourselves and hopefully spread more positive vibes in a world that desperately needs it. This quest for happiness has been a bumpy road that and it has opened my mind to spiritual growth and new ways to see life. Somehow in that journey I have been leaning more towards love, confidence, and faith, and I have found Gabrielle Bernstein’s book The Universe has your back a perfect dose of love, spirituality, self-awareness, and gratitude.

I feel it is time to surrender it all and accept my purpose: to be love, and spread happiness and love.
I have been practicing to improve my handwriting skills and writing this beautiful mantra was a very relaxing exercise to connect with the feelings of love and joy:
I am ready to learn through love.
I spent a lot of time thinking about the meaning of this sentence, what does that really means for me to be ready, to be willing to learn through love. All of this while I was drawing lines, circles, and letters to improve my lettering skills, almost like a drawing meditation practice!.
When the symbols we choose all begin to vibrate with love, then we feel much more supported by life.
That’s why I have included in this post the printable PDF version so you can print your love statement in your favourite color paper, and frame it. Remember your commitment to love daily. when you wake up and when you come across a difficult situation or negative thoughts, simply remember this mantra.
According to Gabrielle:
- Choose the teacher of love. Accept that you’d rather learn through love over the teacher of fear.
- Remember, your happiness is a direct reflection of how quickly you can shift your fear to love.
- Align your thoughts with love. The Universe always responds to the energy behind your beliefs.
- Commit to your purpose statement: I am ready to learn to love.
Remember that joy and happiness are our birthright.
What block us from those feelings is our separation from love.
